How to configure Instagram Follower Export

Build a research list from the public followers available for a chosen account. This guide explains how to configure the intended flow and review its inputs in the current CrowdYeti editor.

  • Input: A public Instagram profile URL.
  • Output: Username, Name, Profile URL, Source account, Captured at.
  • Coverage: Source accessibility and provider support determine available records and fields.
  • Availability: Workflow configuration is available; live collection and delivery are still in development.
  • Usage: Final execution limits and credit rates will be announced before paid runs are available.

  1. Choose your source: Start with a public instagram profile url. Use the exact public source that fits your research question, and check it contains the activity you want to inspect.

  2. Review the intended fields: The intended output includes Username, Name, Profile URL, Source account, Captured at. Decide which details are useful and retain source links with your selection. Actual coverage depends on the source and provider.

Keep observed facts separate from inferred details. Missing fields should remain missing rather than being presented as verified information.

  3. Choose your selection criteria: Write down what makes a record useful before adding deeper research. A relevant topic, a clearly expressed need or a public profile that fits your brief is more useful than a large unreviewed list.

  4. Configure the workflow: Open the corresponding template in the editor and inspect its collection and review steps. Adjust the input to your research task. If a dedicated template is not available, start from a blank workflow and add the required steps.

Save a separate draft when changing the research source or purpose, so the intended inputs and review criteria remain clear.

  5. Inspect coverage and limits: Public platform totals do not guarantee that every record is accessible. Review available fields, duplicate handling and source limits before treating a dataset as complete.

  6. Review before execution: The current editor saves draft configuration. Live execution is being developed. Once it becomes available, inspect the estimated cost, record limit and selected enrichment fields before starting a run.

A configured workflow is a draft. It does not establish that provider collection, enrichment or export has already run.
